Mr Robot is the intense series that follows a young programmer suffering with social anxiety disorder as he hacks his way to bettering the world.

So. Many. Plot Twists. Mr Robot is unlike any other. It has drama, intelligence, comedy, politics and so much more to offer. I was hooked on the first episode that I spent one hungover Saturday watching the whole series and avoiding everyone who wanted me to go out again because this show is just too good.

Mr Robot is definitely a show that makes you think. I feel like it has a very similar vibe to Breaking Bad (without the meth) and I definitely feel like it has the potential to be near the level of success as Breaking Bad in 2016.

The storyline is so gripping. It's one of those series that is written so well and thought out that you never get bored and there's always something new happening. Although there has been plenty of movies about hacking into the government or what have you to try and save the world or gain justice, it's unique to see it done in a television series. Mr Robot brings a new edge and angle to this genre, a genre that tends to have a specific audience, and makes it more engaging to those that don't usually have an interest, much like myself.

Rami Malek is the main character, Elliot. He brings so much to his performance and even if he's not doing much in a scene, he is still doing a lot. Whilst the whole cast is very well put together and they all individually are great, Maleks acting skills are incomparable. His vulnerability mixed with his strength and power, makes it so hard to take your eyes off of the screen.

Mr Robot is about fucking with the system but the show offers a whole lot more. Even if conspiracy drama's aren't really your thing, definitely give this show a try and you will find yourself hooked. The further you go in to series 1, the more intense it gets and the more you want to be in the show to give Elliot a hug. Easily one of the best new shows to come out of 2015. Definitely recommend.
